Ensuring Tech Center youth are comfortable with technology and proficient in expressing themselves through professional software and hardware tools

Increasing job readiness among youth, including increased placement in internships and jobs drawing on technology skills

Supporting college placements, including attendance at colleges Tech Center members would otherwise be unlikely to attend
PATHWAYS ACTIVITIES

Field trips to local companies and to local colleges and universities

"Visiting technologist" days, in which the Tech Center hosts visits from professionals who utilize technology in their careers

Professional internship and job opportunities for Best Buy Teen Tech Center members

Workshops in resume-writing, interviewing skills, goal setting, and educational planning
Learn and Earn Program
Best Buy Teen Tech Center members will be afforded an opportunity to participate in the 2018 Learn and Earn Summer Youth Employment program. Participants will work for 6 weeks and be placed in various job sites around the city. This will help strengthen our C2C Pathways by giving members more options in technical work sites for internships.
